Some of you recently asked how I manage to DP while also running a company that’s reaching high levels of complexity, with a dedicated team of 30 people and more than 25 shootings every month…

I would love to say that the answer is passion and hard work, but it’s not that simple. At some point, you have to make choices, and I’ve often prioritized production over cinematography, even when it meant passing up amazing opportunities.

Does this make me less of a DP? I don’t think so. Instead, it has expanded my understanding of what advertising, branded content, and fashion production truly involve.

Working closely with the agency on a campaign has shown me the balance between vision and practicality. Interacting directly with clients has taught me the importance of clear communication and understanding their needs. Being part of the production team has given me a newfound respect for their skills and challenges.

I believe we need to grow in our professions by trusting people and moving away from labels and stigmas that only create unnecessary levels between us. Embracing this mindset should lead us to break down barriers and work more collaboratively.

Good news is that I think we are already on this path, and I can only be thankful to all the people who are trusting and supporting me. Especially everyone who is part of this craziness @play_your_brand and @menta.tv. And, above all, to my partners, @albert.capo & @xbayle. This journey wouldn’t be the same without you!

Right now, I am happy to say that I am really enjoying the process. I will continue DPing, but also growing our companies and exploring whatever comes next.
