With the short documentary „QUIET DEPTHS“, we broke free from our daily routines, thanks to Patagonia’s support. Inspired by their sustainable ethos, we embarked on a spontaneous journey to the Arctic Circle. Our destination, the isolated Seglvik Peninsula, received incredible support from the local „Valhalla Orca Expedition.“
Facing strong waves on military boats and extreme conditions on land, our equipment and team, led by director Nikolas Meyberg, director of photography Peter Kämpf, and executive producer Hannes Höhn, were put to the test. Our main protagonist, Cindy Ogorzaly, a marine devotee, shared her inspiring story emphasizing the importance of preserving the natural world.
Limited by short daylight hours, Cindy’s role as Valhalla skipper, and the harsh environment, we efficiently captured scenes and interviews each day. Sustainability was prioritized throughout production to minimize our ecological footprint in this untouched setting. Huge thanks to everyone involved for their support in making this project possible. 🙌🌊✨
