Some of my fondest memories was being 12/13 years old and hanging out at my Uncle Joe’s body shop in Astoria Queens ( Joe Sals Autobody). We would get hard salami’s from the Alps Provisions next door and cut em up with razor blades in the shop. When it was lunch time Joe would send me down to @salkrisandcharlies to get the boys some lunch. The sandwiches were the size of my head!
