I've been thinking about doing this ever since I taught a 5 day silicone appliance class at Weta Workshop. At the time I was the prosthetic supervisor and I need to train people up to be able to see the process all the way through. Knowing what to look out for and how to trouble shoot when things aren't going right is a huge part of the process.

Im a strong believer that you need to know every aspect of the build from start to finish. Doing this will give to insight into all the steps it takes to make something that blends flawlessly into someone's skin.

The difference in a decent and great silicone appliance is all in the minor detail and hopefully that's the knowledge people walk away with.

At the moment I'm just putting out feelers to see who would be interested. Im thinking having a class ever Saturday (5 weeks) and teach you the process from start to finish. And in the end you will glue down your own prosthetic to your partner.

In order to do this right I'm thinking of only taking on 4-6 people at a time so I can be hands on with everyone I'm teaching.

If this is something you or someone you know is interested in DM me.
