I had the pleasure of diving into the world of Virtual Production for the first time with "Europa," an @entertainment_technologies USC-led project generously supported by @sony. As one of the Assistant Directors, collaborating with the heads of various departments was an enriching experience. It was rewarding to identify and address the unique needs of each team, especially as there were teams I was coming to understand. Following the completion of filming, I had the privilege of attending NAB Show, an annual conference held in Las Vegas. This was my second time attending, but this time was particularly special. I hit the road with three of the Producers from "Europa," and we set out to see our film showcased at the SONY booth throughout the event.
