‘In relation to thinking about sex and sexuality, the feminine and femininity, I think coming to the realisation that I don’t need to mimic any male peers in the work place, or aspects of their masculinity, was a big thing for me’ - @lucianariso 🩵 Talking on the 2nd panel of the #DoesThatMakeMeAWoman event was not a straight forward choice for Luci as the subject of conversation ‘For women in the creative industries, what are the risks and rewards associated with speaking openly about sex and sexuality?’ meant stepping out of her comfort zone. But, ultimately, Luci enjoys being challenged and challenge in all senses of the word has been at the heart of lot of Luci’s and @_justbec’s collaborations - not always for the right reasons 😉 As the DOP on #dtmmaw and a close friend and collaborator of Bec’s, Luci experimented with Bec to find the light and material combination for the shoot with @mia_mbruce. This meant, after a lot of time spent at Walthamstow market, they landed on the sparkles of all different shades appearing and disappearing through the lens 🩵
