As powerful as it is to be in front of the camera, there is something even more profound about having a seat at the table. April, Maya, Allison and I shared our unabashed truths with @anthropologie about fashion, adaptive fashion, representation, and equity and we were really heard. It has been incredible to see how Anthro has taken our advice and put it into practice in a way I’ve never seen a brand do. This trip, this launch, and the friendships made along the way are so special. Seeing “adaptive” alongside “standard,” “petite,” “tall,” “plus,” instead of relegated to a separate page, has been such a win in itself. With each job, I’m constantly thinking about how it will shift fashion for the disabled community. And this one feels so good!
