directing + grading project: ogũn. a fashion film i created at the beginning of the year in south africa together with dp @twooneeyeddogs and producer @alex.draheim @boxfish.film. fashion designer @james.berlein connected us with @ostap_chumichev and @juniorxmukiza (both @sister.mgmt) — thanks for your outstanding performance! niko @keytone.io delivered some poetic and empathic sound design 🤍 you can find the link to the film in my bio. ogũn is not just about fashion, it’s also an ode to mother nature. i’m thankful for the beautiful places we witnessed within the process ✨ all the words that came to our mind when describing ogũn’s pieces also had a hang towards nature – timeless, modest, minimalistic, simple, pristine, pure, down to earth in the tones. we thought about how africa as the mother continent has shaped us, as the cradle of humankind. how people move within the land and feel connected as well as inspired in their aesthetics. how wind is the wave, how our souls are similar to water, how our destiny is like the wind. the soul and heart of every individual are connected within the bigger picture. have fun watching 🤙🏼
