This is Africa’  @olivier_rousteing - On Set for Balmain x Lion King  Olivier’s words fully echo the spirit of this incredible production.  A big part of this collaboration was to focus on diversity both in front, AND behind the camera, which is something we always take to heart. When crewing up, we wanted our set to reflect the everyday ethnic diversity of our home, South Africa.  This project resonated with us on so many levels… Needless to say, we love the fashion, and acknowledge the immense work of the designers.
