On June, 26 this last week my father, Severiano Mendoza, got his wings. My dad was an icon! He crossed on foot from Mexico into the United States when he was a teenager in search of a better life. With this dream he accomplished so much. As a professional clown and balloon artist, he was my first teacher in the entertainment business. He was an incredibly hard worker. He taught me how work my ass off, then travel and enjoy life and the world. He always put family first and that lesson about the importance of love has made me who I am. I will miss him forever, but his spirit and legacy will always be with me.
