Today would’ve been my mema, Kathie’s 74th birthday!!! She passed when i was 8 years old but she’ll always live on in me, my moms & my brothers hearts. She’s my entire family’s biggest inspiration! Life hasn’t been as vibrant and full since she’s been gone. She wasn’t a photographer but loved to take photos. She was everyone’s safe space. She was loving, peaceful, strong, resilient, the list goes on!!! Her nickname was Pinky & she’s my OG GOAT 🐐 Her love is/was/will always be 9000x more powerful than all of con edison!!! She gave me my first nickname, Madam Butterfly 🦋🫡. She taught my mom, my brothers, me & her whoooooollllleeeeeee community what it was like to live free, to love & be you no matter what. Long Live Pinky!!! I’m currently working on archiving all her old photos, this is the first installment of many. All photos are either of her, or taken by her if she’s not in frame.
