We are pleased to present SALON, an installation produced by hairstylist @adesewa_ as part of the @museumofeveryone Tides of Momental Gesture exhibition. Open from the 9th of July to the 8th of September, this installation focuses on self-fashioning, and allows viewers to explore the meanings of cultural expression and visual agency as a restorative practice for migrants. Visitors are invited to view and listen to rich narratives that highlight how black communities have negotiated their identities.

This installation forms the second iteration of Éireann and I’s open table workshop series which invites guest artists to join them in exploring the dynamics between migrants/natives and guests/artists.

Join us for the official launch on the 12th of July at 6pm at the @luangalleryathlone
