I’ve been thinking on how I could put this into words for a minute now and all I could really think of is how it started. In 7th grade I was heavy on my skateboard shit still asking my moms (I was blessed with two) to shop at active ride shop but one day I went to school and Jide had on these wu-tang denim shorts and it fucked me up - like nigga what is that lol and from that minute on I was fully into streetwear. It was a whole new world, new music and I was wet behind the ears not fully knowing what creative direction or what running a Record Label could even be. Fast forward to now thinking on how blessed I am to travel the world to do what I love so to be asked to curate something of this magnitude for the city of LA kinda floored me. I’m so honored to be able to share with you this deliberately curated line up and vendor garden that will take place this Sunday afternoon at Grand Park LA. This is definitely just the beginning of what Salon is capable of so strap in come along for the ride.
