“‘I swear last month you flipped a coin about whether to be a lawyer or a marine biologist.’   ‘It’s cool, you know, to have a life mapped out.”   We are really excited to announce we will be partnering with the incredible @weareintermission to host two placements, paid at London Living Wage, over this world premiere production of #GIGIANDDAR   Intermission’s Backstage Training Programme cultivates a new generation of talent to get them ready to enter the industry. Trainees gain behind-the-scenes experience, opening doors that were previously closed.   On GIGI & DAR the wonderful SM team led by @kayleighatkinson19 will host @_helin_sahin on 4-week placement  from the start of rehearsals until Press Night, and our Olivier Award winning lighting designer @ciaranec will get a new assistant over tech, previews and press in the form of @byabs_ .   In our view there is really no replacement for hands-on experience in a role where you are valued, supported by a massively experienced team, have responsibility and are paid fairly for your time.   ACTING TO TRANSFORM YOUNG LIVES   GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE THE TOOLS TO MAKE POSITIVE CHOICES   https://www.intermissionyouththeatre.co.uk
