Decluttering the mind has become an important, if not essential, ritual in life. The only way to really do that is to go somewhere free of digital distractions. In this case, a land without internet. My heart, my brain, my lungs, my eyes, my neck, my soul and my spirit thanked me. We all know we spend too many hours online, tethered and disconnected. It’s nothing new and I certainly haven’t perfected the art of mindfulness. But being in nature, unable to access the modern temptations that suck life out of me, is a good place to start. I share these images as a reminder that staring out a window that isn’t your bedroom’s, overlooking landscapes that feel totally foreign can be healing ❤️🩹
