@adidasoriginals x @noteshop | The other day i got a call by my old friend @steezbrecht_ who works for @1993agency if I was down to join him @adriosphoto and his buddy @lukssch on a small road-trip through the UK to portrait three skateshops in three different cities and if I was okay shooting all of them only on 16mm film. No pitch process, no stupid meetings, no directors interpretations… 100% creative freedom filming skateboarding without any limitations. I guess I totally underestimated how happy this project would make me back then. Being immediately welcomed in Manchester by this shining group of skateboarders from @noteshop it felt like going on a trip with my friends back in the days - not like going on a paid job for a big client. I am just beyond grateful for being able to do this and pay my bills with this stuff, Meeting new friends around the globe and be inspired by everything I am allowed to witness along the way, doing what I always wanted to do. Thank you to everyone who made this happen! This is the first of three individual, truly original films I was able to make for @adidasoriginals - and to sum up a perfect project, there was NO feedback to change anything in all of the three clips which means you’re looking at a DC.
