14 years ago, or so, I was in the middle of making my first short film. Frigid city streets were a backdrop in it. Some of you may not know I hail from the land of ice and snow. It was hard to get projects made up there. Hearty midwesterners stick together and see things through, descended from generations of farmers that had to band together in the fight for survival. There's a special feeling of accomplishment that goes along with that.
