With only 3 weeks till this year’s British Hairdressing Awards, my year as the current Scottish Hairdresser of the Year is coming to an end. So thank you again, it has quite literally been a dream come true. Even though I am nominated this year, I never take it for granted that my work will get a nomination, never mind a win - so a massive congratulations to this year’s nominees 🫶 The British Hairdressing Awards celebrate their 40th anniversary on 25th November and on that date 40 years ago, Band Aid recorded Do They Know it’s Christmas - so I wanted to create a collection based around the early 80’s when Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, Heaven 17, Wham and many more introduced us to the New Romantic Era. “Romantic Rebels” is my nod to everything I loved about growing up in the 80’s so I hope you like it as much as I loved creating it.
