Spending time outside of audio and music to pursue visual arts and cultivate a deeper sense of expression and emotional fulfillment. I’ve been more social with visual art than I was with music and it has been incredibly eye-opening. I’ve learned from close friends and new acquaintances that being a creative embraces multiple interests. This is the opposite of the only work ethic I knew until recently and it’s an incredible relief to see another side. Now that I know I dont have to force any endeavors into a silo I’m pursuing art direction. I’m currently working on: • animating canvases for a soundtrack I released last year • studying value and perspective through figure drawing • studying color theory while exploring visual mediums • developing a graphic design portfolio for commercial work • continuing work as an independent AV contractor I’m still working in audio and music but my appreciation for them has already changed dramatically. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with music and rounding out a creative personality and lifestyle. I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful people I’ve met and have known.
