Yesterday with @opi @opi_professionals for the OPIconic Exhibit was a dream 💕 I won’t pretend that I don’t feel emotional posting this 🥹 When I worked on @euphoria, of course I had hoped that my nails could make some sort of impact. But what I *really* had hoped for was to set a precedent for ALL nail artists to have recognition and be regarded as the true talents and artists that they are. They are ARTISTS first; their medium just happens to be on fingernails and not on a canvas. We are often viewed as being in the beauty space (we are) but I would bet you most of *us* view ourselves in ART. I realize only now that I believe maybe my vision came true. At the very least, it offered hopes and dreams a chance for actualizing to many nail artists. I want to thank @opi @opi_professionals for bringing recognition to our industry with this event. Not only was it an honor to be recognized and to discuss my career, but they trust me with my visions completely ALWAYS and encourage me to explore my deep artistic wants and needs. ❤️ And a huge thank you to my sister @doc_martins for glamming me 💕 she literally SNATCHED ME 😫💕 I will be doing *DEMOS* today for round 2 at the OPIconic Event so please stop by and say hello! ⭐️✨
