I’m heartbroken to hear of Liz Hatton’s passing. Recently, I had the privilege of meeting Liz and her incredible family when they visited my studio as part of her photography bucket list. Liz was facing an aggressive form of cancer, but that didn’t stop her from bringing her extraordinary talent, grace, and unshakable determination to our fashion shoot for the latest issue of
@hungermagazine. The results of that unforgettable day are featured in this post.
Liz’s understanding of photography was remarkable (especially for someone so young), she worked with the focus and passion of a true professional, lifting the energy on set and inspiring every single one of us who were lucky enough to share that time with her. Meeting Liz, and witnessing her boundless love for photography firsthand, was an experience we on the team will always treasure.
Rest peacefully, Liz. My deepest thoughts are with Vicky, Aaron, and Mateo as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Liz’s family is raising funds to support research into Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour, a rare cancer with virtually no dedicated funding for effective treatments. Please, if you’re able, share or contribute to their fundraiser (link in bio). Every bit helps.
