At Dessert Works, our cakes are ‘European style’ meaning they are filled with mousse instead of traditional frosting.

Our mousses are made with a base of whipped cream, then eggs are cooked with sugar and whipped to cool. Next, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, lemon, cappuccino, or raspberry puree is folded with the other two components to create a light and airy filling that complements each cake flavor.
