When we began recording, we merely intended to keep an archive of our improvisations. Yet we kept bringing in new friends and those who inspired one another to keep hitting record, sunset after sunset. Many of us had just met on the field and some even spoke to one another through music before words. It was 2020 and we had no idea where we were going, let alone ending up here, holding our first vinyl in our hands, still together. To say the least, it’s been a journey. A chapter. A full circle in a family affair. There is a depth here and a chaos, transformation and vision, strength and care here amongst us. “Do You Remember?” is the sound of us questioning and challenging ourselves and the world around us to grow into an imaginative future while recalling our ancestral past.
