This week, we were able to attend a very special screening for
@asifkapadia’s new documentary ‘2073’, co-edited by our very own
@sylvielandra, with an insightful Q&A afterwards - at the iconic Regent Street Cinema
As existentially terrifying as 2073 is, it’s rare that a film is as prescient and important given the state of the world going into 2025.
FYI The Regent Street Cinema is known for having shown the first screening of moving footage in the United Kingdom. From 1980 - 2015, the cinema was used as a lecture theatre, where, interestingly, Asif Kapadia attended lectures as part of his education.
Be sure to watch 2073 when it releases later this month!
