We are so grateful to have been invited by the Corning Museum of Glass to be their official artists-in-residence last week where we got the chance to create four fully-functioning fantasy perfume bottles inspired by the fatal flowers of our award-winning perfume collection Les Potions Fatales, with the incredibly talented hot glass team of Catherine Ayers, Chris Rochelle, Caitlin Hyde, and Helen Tegeler. What an absolutely inspiring experience through and through and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results, and can’t wait to share them with you. On our first day we met and briefed the glass team, sharing our designs and discussing how to go about actually rendering each. Afterward, we got to explore the museum including the Sensorium perfume bottle exhibit finishing the day with dinner in Downtown Corning with our host and friend, Troy Smythe. Over the next four days we’ll show off the design, process and finished blown-glass fantasy bottles for our Hemlock, Wolfsbane, Bloodflower, and Poppy Soma parfums, one per day. #parfumsquartana #lespotionsfatales #perfumebottles #corningmuseumofglass
