DAY 2/5: WOLFSBANE Eau de parfum
Our second day as artists-in-residence at the Corning Museum of Glass last week has our master glazier Catherine Ayers rendering the fantasy perfume bottle we designed (complete with functioning dip wand!) for Wolfsbane, a beastly, psychedelic eau de parfum.
The fantasy bottle design reflects the spirit of the perfume designed by Philippe Paparella-Paris, and is a stalk of exaggerated, surrealistic Wolfsbane flowers stuffed into a 19th century, skull-emblazoned absinthe bottle which serves as the base.
Assisted by Chris Rochelle and Helen Tegeler.
We are so grateful to have been invited by the Corning Museum of Glass to be their official artists-in-residence last week where we got the chance to create four fully-functioning fantasy perfume bottles inspired by the fatal flowers of our award-winning perfume collection Les Potions Fatales, with the talented hot glass team of Catherine Ayers, Chris Rochelle, and Helen Tegeler. What an absolutely inspiring experience through and through and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results!
Tomorrow we’ll show off the design, process and finished blown-glass fantasy bottle for our Fragrance Foundation
@fragrancefoundation award-winning Poppy Soma extrait de parfum, then Hemlock eau de toilette Thursday and Bloodflower eau de parfum this Friday.
