What started as eight unique individuals has now become J-pop boy band One or Eight, a name inspired by a Japanese phrase meaning “all or nothing“ — a motto the group actively lives by.
“We all come from completely different backgrounds — some are dancers, some are producers, some are rappers, some are singers — which is a rare occasion for groups,” says Neo of One or Eight, which has been together for two years, both as bandmates and roommates. “We share everything, even food.”
Earlier this week the band rereleased their track “Kawasaki” in collaboration with
@bigsean (Big Sean), a musical idol of theirs — proving that music really is a force that connects. 🛵🎶
