these past few weeks have not been easy, but I’m grateful to be in community surrounded by people I love. reminding myself to cherish the moments of levity, while letting the heavy moments be heavy. riding the waves (in typical pisces fashion) and taking deep breaths along the way.🧡

Broadway debut 7.12.24 @mjthemusical Thank you to the entire MJ team for welcoming me with open arms and supporting me every step of the way. What an absolute dream to share the stage and this moment with all of you! I’ll be riding this high for a long, long time.

Had to check out a little earlier than planned (insert 20 stitches here), but I am leaving the McKittrick with the fullest of hearts. Being a part of @sleepnomorenyc has been an absolute dream. I first auditioned back in 2017 and while I was sad to get a “no”, I trusted that someday I’d be ready to meet whatever was inside the hotel, and that the hotel would one day be ready to open its doors to me… Six years later and what a life-changing meeting it was. To play Lady Macbeth as a Black woman and get to stand in my fullest power has been the greatest gift. This role broke me wide open in the most beautiful, cathartic way and allowed me to uncover parts of myself I didn’t know existed. Thank you to my partners for trusting and holding me in every sense of the word. To the incredible artistic team for guiding us along the way. To everyone behind the scenes who works tirelessly to keep the magic alive. To my cast-mates for inspiring me more than you know. You are some of the most brilliant artists I’ve ever met and better yet, the most generous and kind humans. I am so honored to have shared this time with you. And to my family, my community, everyone who came out to support, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
