I’m finally back with a third interview and instalment of my personal project, A Mother’s Dream.
I’m so excited to share that I had the pleasure of interviewing Africa, also known as @thevitamindproject. I’ve followed Africa for a few years on here and I’m always so inspired by her posts, words and thoughts.
I took a trip down to the Kent coast to spend a few hours with Africa and her family, from their home to the interactions and children there was an overwhelming sense of love and warmth.
The link to our interview can now be found in my bio, we spoke about social injustice and when is the right time to have these conversations with children, resilience and leaving home at an early age.
A massive thank you to Africa and her family for letting me into their space and for being apart of this project, I hope you guys love this entry as much as I do.
I’m incredibly excited to share I have been honoured on this years 66 Women Who Werkkk list by @sixtysixagency in the Photography category 🎉!
This list highlights 66 Black female creatives to watch, and I’m beyond grateful to be among such inspiring women. My journey with photography started eight years ago as a creative outlet to relieve stress while studying for my undergraduate degree in psychology. What began as a way to unwind has blossomed into a true passion—one that has brought me so many incredible opportunities and allowed me to share my perspective through the lens.
To celebrate this recognition, there will be an event honouring all those on the list, and I’d love to see some friendly faces there! If you’re interested in joining me to celebrate, please send me a message, and I’ll be happy to share the RSVP link.
Thank you to @sixtysixagency and @mgordeen especially, for this recognition, and here’s to continuing to grow, create, and inspire! 🖤

10 more from backstage at the @tolucoker SS25 London Fashion Week show.
This show left me inspired to consider set design as a bigger part of my shoots. Not only did I fall in love with what the set represented but how it transformed the pictures.

London fashion week it feels good to be back!!
Back to doing what I know best, surviving off coffee and a handful of sweets for the whole day, consistently wearing the wrong shoes and telling people I’m their biggest fan.
Grateful to be back shooting for @nssmagazine this season, still so much to share but here’s 10 so far.

A mixture of moments during carnival day one and two seeing as I focused on wining waist with my best friend, hugging friends and running from food vendor to food vendor today.

Haven’t wanted to leave the house as much in the last few weeks, especially today as it marks one month without my grandma but I’m glad I did.
Between the 9 to 5, excitement and prep of being a bridesmaid and in contrast preparing to go back to Nigeria to lay a loved one to rest and freelancing with the photography, I woke up today with this 🤏🏾 much energy and zero expectations. Returned to Notting Hill Carnival day one with @ukbftog and joined them in their photo walk and I’m so grateful for this community of amazing black women. So many hugs, familiar faces and new friendships formed.
Love documenting Carnival, glad to be back, excited to do it at all over again tomorrow ♥️

Grateful for no rain this year and glad to be back shooting on behalf of @blackeatsldn once again. Spotted some amazing outfits, people and moments today.
The energy was nothing short of infectious, loads of hugs were given and new friends made, this afternoon was needed and delivered.
See you next weekend at UK black pride?
