To make a slight impression…

So grateful to have my photographs featured in the @nytimes Surfing and photography have always served as invaluable parts of my life. They keep me honest, they challenge me, and they surprise me. This opportunity to put my favorite mediums of self expression into a project and see the results in physical print has me over the moon. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and to @joshuakissi for trusting me on this one. Feels like a step in the right direction.

I recently had the opportunity to get in the water and shoot some stills on set for @nytimes “Black Surfers Reclaim Their Place On The Waves” while working alongside/assisting @joshuakissi and @morganmaassen Photographed here are @hunterjoness and @selema It was an honor to get to work on such a powerful project with such inspiring creatives and surfers alike. Proud to represent the surfing community as another person of color.
