1 year ago today Jess and I arrived in India.
Who knew we would be in this amazing country for so long?
Even with corona virus sending the world into a global pandemic, India has an amazing way of getting you where you need to go at exactly the right time.

The reality of the Yamuna river behind the Taj Mahal.
One of the most shocking things I’ve seen while traveling in India. Watching people bathe and wash their clothes in this water left me speechless.
I hope one day humanity can come together to clean up these rivers and bring them back to their true glory.

Welcome to Banaras, more famously known as Varanasi.
Patiently waiting for the return of foreign tourists, boatmen make the most of their situation by chilling, sleeping and maintaining their vessels.
Looking out into the Ganges River I can’t help but wonder what this place would feel like during the busy season.
I can imagine all of these empty boats filled with tourists flooding the river.
If sort of feels like Jess and I are traveling through the eye of a hurricane. The places we visit in India that are normally complex and chaotic are now calm and peaceful.
