Each year the curator of Week-End Fest comes up with an especially curated project. This year we put a spotlight on Arthur Russell‘s and our guest Nicky Siano’s first ever release, the ground breaking 1978 Disco smash hit “Kiss Me Again”. Our good friend and longtime collaborator Jorik Bergman took another, fearless chance to rearrange and rework this masterpiece in a 30 minute long version at the Kompakt Recordstore. We were thrilled to host the iconic @seefeel.signals at @week_end_fest this year. Pioneers of fusing guitar-based shoegaze with electronic minimalism, their set showcased hypnotic loops and pulsing basslines, taking our audience on a spellbinding sonic journey. 📸 : @_niclasweber_

This year, we had the joy of hosting the extraordinary @kahilelzabar on our stage. His transcendent performance, blending spiritual jazz with rich rhythmic textures, managed to loosen up the crowd of @week_end_fest and had us grooving along with his rhythm. 📸 : @_niclasweber_

An absolute legend graced the @jaki.klub stage this year— @djnick54 ! What a privilege it was to host the fabulous Tara Clerkin Trio (@soundaroundme_ ) this year! Their unique mix of jazz, looping clarinet melodies, and experimental rhythms created an intricate, hypnotic performance that resonated deeply with us.
