The color on these is🔥 Rare pair of Rosewood tables designed by Jean Gillon for Probel. Made in Brazil. Circa 1970. Dimensions: 29” x 29” x 16” Jean Gillon (1919 - 2007) was a French-Brazilian designer and architect born in Romania. He studied architecture in France, then moved to Brazil in the 1950s. Gillon’s furniture design studio in Sao Paulo specialized in Brazilian rosewood and exotic woods, characterized by clean lines and minimalist details. He was instrumental in Brazil’s modernist movement, designing iconic pieces like the “Jangada” and “Psi” armchairs.
