Congratulations to AFF Investment Fund film LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS on being selected for the 2025 @berlinale! 🪐 The AFF 2024 Audience Feature Award winner sold out four sessions during the festival and we can't wait to see them win over audiences internationally! LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS is the second feature film to emerge from the @safilmcorp, AFF and @screenaustralia Film Lab: New Voices initiative and has been selected for the Berlinale's Panorama section.

The three shortlisted projects have been selected for further development and $5,000 cash support and will be presented to a selection panel in March 2025. One project will be awarded the Expand $100,00 Moving Image Commission and two projects will be selected for mentoring by the @agsa.adelaide or @IlluminateAdelaide. We're thrilled to announce the participants of this year's partnership with Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival (@jaffjogja) and @mylab.film! The Australian projects that will be presented at the inaugural @jaffmarket are documentary SAMPAI MATI (working title) (Ben Golotta), and horror-drama RAESITA GREY (Katrina Irawati Graham). The filmmakers will take part in a development initiative aimed at cultivating enhanced cultural connectivity between Australia and Indonesia and will attend the JAFF Market in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 3 – 5 December 2024.
