@mahalia attends the Fashion Awards 2024 wearing custom Ahluwalia inspired by our Spring Summer 2025 collection, ‘Home Sweet Home’. “I’ve always really loved all of Ahluwalia’s collections; I love her use of colour, her use of different materials, and how she can make materials that sometimes don’t look great on bodies like mine look great.” - Mahalia The one-shoulder gown in a rich chestnut-brown is inspired by the draping of Indian saris featuring asymmetric pleated panels on the front and back. Intricate handcrafted beaded strings of embellishment draped around the waist and hips falls on the side, paying homage to beaded curtains found in Nigerian homes. Made in a stretch silk satin finished with a flared hem and a draped train. The look is completed with a series of lab-grown diamond necklaces and pearl rings by @theofficialpandora
