37 years ago on a very hot summer day in NY our whole lives changed. I ran to get my grandfather yelling “the baby is coming”, I was 7 I didn’t know it took 20 hours. More importantly, What I could never have been aware of at the time was my mom wasn’t only having my brother, she had made my closest friend, a music loving / concert goer (and so so many we have). A travel buddy, dog dad, comedian who needs a mic. Sometimes we mistakenly wear matching shirts on a hike. My grandfather and his sister Lou lived 10 minutes apart and had this beautiful friendship that far surpassed siblings. Through all the trails in life we’ve somehow accomplished this same magic that not everyone is lucky enough to have. Today we celebrate you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON ! @aaron_zumback

Em, Emmy, Emmit, My Boy, You were my protector for years until you needed me to be yours. Teaching me to love unconditionally, patience and respect for ones person. The ending was better than the beginning. Never the same. Never a before. Never an after. Rest Peacefully.
