Moving more, working with new materials and trying to focus on deep learning and creative experimentation while writing this new album. Feeling so much inspiration from collaborating with people I trust and who move through the world with so much warmth 🖤

A very surreal moment 🐚 Endless thanks to my collaborator @floriantmzeisig @somewhere.press for giving this project a new lease of life 🖤 Thank you to @mushetofernandez for the typeface design and thank you to @eswsculpture for the original installation and generous support during the time of making this work 🖤 ‘Selkie Reflections’ is available to purchase via @boomkatonline thank you for all your support 🖤 @boomkatonline review extract - In 2022, Enyo worked with the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop on an epic two-hour composition made from tape loops inspired by selkies, mythical creatures in Celtic folklore. Contemplating memory, grief and time itself, Enyo devised a “sonorous myth” installation and performance that drowned her voice in the deep sea, using echo to help parallel the communication of humpback whales. It was powerful enough for her to net the award for Sonic Arts at the Scottish Awards for New Music last year, and it’s this material that she revisits here, entering into a dialog with Berlin-based producer Florian T M Zeisig, here adopting a new avatar - Angel R.

Jumping on and off instagram to anncounce this one! Sometimes I really need to breathe and acknowledge the fact that I have only been doing sound since lockdown and have had 0 classical training or entry with sound before I started djing and sang in the odd choir at school. I feel really greatful to have received this award and it has helped me to realise that I want to establish my career as an experimental composer moving forward alongside album releases as an independent artist. Realising this is huge as someone who is so interdisciplinary I feel this is a huge step in the right direction for me.
