Shifting views ✨👀 . . . . . Guys I have news- I got contact lenses. I feel like an X-Man. Just when I thought I had seen enough, I can suddenly see absolutely everything. Like I can see the shadows on the moon, and I have spent a lot of time looking lately. I think for a long time I’ve benefitted from being hyper-focused on exactly what and who was directly in front of in front of me, but now I think I’m ready to see the rest of room and everything in it. Once the 🐛 bites are healed, it’s going to be a whole new ball game.

I think the black Marilyn is 3rd. I’ve never seen his Venus in real life…maybe this would beat Marilyn idk but I’ve seen the original Venus and nothing could compare so it’s a tricky one.

It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it matters if I win or lose. . . . . . There is less than 100 days left in 2024, which is plenty of time to achieve the goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. I personally was reviewing life to find a non art-related activity that I could enjoy ( a “hobby” if you like) and last week I hit my target. 😏🏹 small wins; big picture ! ♥️🖼️

Scenes from the beautiful life I dreamed about ♥️💭 . . . . . 💌March - July 2024 💭on rare occasions, I wake up in the middle of the night and I am wide awake. When this happens I try not to fight it, but I also try not to over stimulate myself so I can get back to sleep. I sometimes have sleepy conversations with friends back home ♥️. Sometimes I look back at the art and scenes I’ve experienced lately and maybe didn’t take the time to fully appreciate because I was having too much fun ( see pic 3). Reflecting on this really beautiful life with really great people puts me back to sleep like an angel, so I can wake up inspired to do it all over again 😇. . . 1. Marble tomb of neoclassical sculptor Canova in Church of Santa Maria dei Frari in Venice, Italy (actually only his heart is buried here, and fun fact he designed this for artist Titian - therefore he is buried in a tomb he designed himself 😬😵‍💫)

Precious Cargo 🌹🖼️ . . . . . 💌June 20, 2024 Personal Art History: This painting is exactly 9 years old today! It was originally created in 2015 as one of an experimental set of artworks called “Smash Ups.” The series was painted by Canadian artist and one of my best friends @mecjayy as well as encouraged and supported by our dear friend Annie at @atomicpomlabs I really don’t know what happened to it for three or four years from 2015-2018/9(!?!?). I know at some point I dropped it off along with the rest of the important things in my life to our longtime friends and supporters at @gfslaw and it lived there for four years during the pandemic. On my recent trip to Canada, @okat23 dropped it off (with some treats) at Place 800. Happy to report it’s now in the very capable hands of Aleksandra at @ astragroupcorp. . . I don’t think @mecjayy even likes it and the black does make it hard to find it a permanent home….. however it’s like the Little Prince says, “it’s the time you wasted for your rose that makes it so important.” Luckily for us we have a whole village continuously helping us waste time on our little roses🌹🤍. Happy Birthday Painting! 🖼️🎂 You are very loved even though you are lot of work ! 😂😂😂
