Lighting up the gorgeous UAE Pavilion took a lot of prep and ingenuity from dp @the_straydog his assistant @brandonmichaelhan & gaffer Imran. The idea was to convert the white space into a cyclorama and represent a beating heart, a look that hadn’t been attempted in the space before. I got an email in late April to make a film about @firdausorchestra & Brahms for World Music Day. Little did I know about the life changing & deeply moving adventure I would be embarking on. To make this in three weeks, edited & released in 10 days took a mammoth amount of support from some of the most inspired, committed, hardworking people I have ever had the privilege to collaborate with.
