Today one year ago I found out I was pregnant. Since then I experience a complete different range of feelings I’ve never felt before, I wasn’t even close to imagine. 🌞 Toni Matilda - 09.08.2023 🌎 Ich liebe dich @aladincabart ——————————— During my pregnancy and afterwards, various people, especially female doctors and midwives, made me feel strange when I talked about Toni's birth by c-section. Toni was in breech position (BEL) and the try to turn her over didn't work. I didn’t want to push her out of my body with her feet first and wanted a c-section. For us it was the safest way to get her and it was the best decision ever. We had a wonderful birth, I had complete confidence, no fear at all and it was simply the most beautiful moment in my life. If only society didn’t make pregnant women or fe women for whom breastfeeding doesn’t work immediately feel like there’s something wrong with them or that they’re not capable of having their children „naturally“, then perhaps fewer women would have to endure very complicated births, which often end with an emergency c-section, serious birth injuries, mental health problems etc. It would be truly amazing and helpful if we support us and our individual decisions in motherhood as there is truly nothing more individual.
