old forest

During my college days, I would see this place from the train while traveling back home on weekends. The smell of sulphur (as my mother recalls from her childhood) still remains around these broken and fragmented structures as they deteriorate. Photographed around the beginning of this year, Crumble (2023) includes pictures from an old chemical factory that used to be one of the biggest fertilizer producers in Chhattisgarh. maquette details: 8 x 11 inches, section sewn 68 pages, 36 laser prints glued over paper
