Я видел много спортсменов, не только боксёров, которые были в техническом или физическом планах намного лучше, чем я. Я смотрел на них, мне так нравилось как они работают. Я и сейчас не повторю, наверное, за ними. Они были очень талантливы. Но они остались где-то там. Кто-то не дошёл даже до чемпионата своей страны. Ни разу даже заграницу на турнир не поехал. Талант без труда — это просто возможность. И без усилий эта возможность останется неосуществлённой. I sincerely believe that talent is 1% of all success. If you devote yourselves to your work, then 99% is hard work. I have seen many athletes, not just boxers, who were much better technically or physically than me. I looked at them, I liked the way they worked. I probably won’t repeat what they did even now. They were very talented. But they stayed somewhere there. Some didn’t even succeeded in the championship of their country. They never even went to an international tournament. Talent without effort is just an opportunity. Without hard work, this opportunity will stay unrealized.
