🎥 Baloji and Emmanuelle Béart will co-preside over the Caméra d’or Jury of the 77th Festival de Cannes! The French actress and the Belgian-Congolese director & songwriter will accompany the first features of filmmakers who look at the world with inspiration, tell it with emotion, and invite to discuss it with the conviction of beginnings. The Caméra d’or Jury will award a prize to one of these first films presented in the Official Selection, at the Semaine de la Critique or the Directors’ Fortnight, on May 25, during the Palmarès ceremony . 🇫🇷🎥 Baloji et Emmanuelle Béart en duo pour présider le Jury de la Caméra d’or du 77e Festival de Cannes ! L’actrice française et le réalisateur & auteur-compositeur belgo-congolais accompagneront les premiers longs métrages de cinéastes qui regardent le monde avec inspiration, le racontent avec émotion et invitent à le discuter avec la force de conviction des débuts. Le Jury de la Caméra d’or récompensera l’un de ces premiers films, présentés en Sélection officielle, à la Semaine de la Critique ou à la Quinzaine des Cinéastes, le 25 mai prochain, lors de la cérémonie du Palmarès.

🇫🇷Je suis tellement heureux de vous annoncer la sélection en compétition officielle de INFINITE TROLLING au légendaire @clermontisff Ce n’est pas seulement parce que j’y ai mis beaucoup de temps, d’argent (projet auto-financé), de sueur et d’amour mais parce que le Lab est exactement ce que doit être un projet entre deux-films, une façon d’expérimenter, de se challenger, tenter des choses mais surtout être sur un plateau de tournage, en salle de montage. Quand les équipes tournent 3-4 projets par an, les réals font un tournage tous les 2-3 ans, par conséquent notre connaissance, expertise sur la fabrication d’un film en est amoindrie, plus fragile… On doit faire des courts-métrages, des clips, des objets hybrides pour parfaire notre grammaire cinématographique et nos effets narratifs. MERCI aux équipes de Kinshasa, aux équipes belges, les co-producteurs et le fantastique casting de cette oeuvre chelou mais tellement libératrice. 🇬🇧I’m so thrilled to share the news! INFINITE is selected in the official competition at the legendary @clermontisff not only because I’ve put a lot of time, money (a self-funded project), sweat and love into it. The Lab is exactly what a project between two films should be, a place of experimenting, a place to challenge ourself, trying things out, but above all being on a film set, being in the editing room. While technical teams shoot 3-4 projects a year, directors shoot once every 2-3 years, As a result, our knowledge and expertise in the making of a film is diminished... we have to make short films, music videos and hybrid objects to perfect our cinematographic grammar and narrative effects. THANK YOU to the teams in Kinshasa, the Belgian teams, the co-producers and the fantastic cast of this wacky but hugely liberating work.

One year ago AUGURE got released… time flies so fast FOREVER grateful to the village involved into the making of this milestone. From the Kinshasa premiere, Cannes’s palais, Oscar’s run, Palace Cinema premiere and all the festivals that gave us a Chance. Thanks to Benoit Roland , the WrongMen team ( Maëva, Madonna, Guillaume, Beata) and all the co-producers, distributors, promoters for their support. Now let’s focus on this new chapters 🎀
