2024. Loved every minute. Thankyou to everyone I worked with this year. The new faces and the cherished ones that put up with my craziness. I apologise for the casual swearing, the exuberant excitement, the huffs and puffs when my tool kit rolls in, the bad jokes and the great ones too! You all have given me so much joy and I continue to learn, grow and take risks thanks to your support. Adelaide freaking rocks. So extremely grateful to be a part of the @northernsoundsystem x @womadelaide academy artist program this year as the styling mentor. It’s a dream role that I have loved every single part of. The artists this year were absolutely phenomenal. They put their heart and soul into their work and their creativity and talent is limitless. Such an honour to see them all perform last night. They were all incredible. Huge congratulations to @northernsoundsystem for the work they do for local artists. The facilities, the people and the whole program that is there is such an integral part of SA music. Hugest congratulations to Bianca who ran the program. Last night showed your hard work, dedication and love for what you do and you should be so very proud! So excited for @womadelaide next year!! Go and get your tix!! I’m going for everything!!! MUSIC VID styling. @avalon.kane & @stuu.patterson Don’t Believe Anymore directed by @conor_mercury_movies, with analogue VFX by @chickencrimpyparty, produced by @bruce_crayonblue and cinematography by @emesron Makeup and hair by @kristajade_mua This was my second multiple day music video. The brief was 80’s saturated, red/black, textured. Tandem dresses from @michaelcostello @revolve. Earrings by @heronpreston. The dresses were used with the cover art and they switched the colours around for the video. The main look was a huge taffeta red skirt by @miscreants__ paired with a @zara top and Etsy necklace. We added a cherry 10m taffeta train to it for effect. The colours were 🤤 The tulle dress was from Etsy too custom made in dark wine. I love supporting fashion creators on Etsy. I have for ages now and I don’t plan on stopping! Check out the link to the vid in my bio! Have a few more video stylings on their way! Had the pleasure of attending the Modern Renaissance event on Sunday with Adelaide’s fabulous fashion scene. Freaking incredible creatives doing some inspiring and hell amazing creations. My favourites @archives_of_zobo were debuting their fashion collection and it lived up to all of my high expectations from them!! They grey wool collection for winter 25 a standout. Just blown away!! Love our vibrant, buzzing little underground fashion scene here. How incredibly lucky I am to meet and connect/collab with amazing artisans in Australia! David from @kobamundii is doing freaking stunning pieces from Adelaide. I’ve used 4 of their incredible belts in my look on my manny but I have huge ideas for them!! Hehe. So many possibilities 😍 I’m cooking up some big plans with David… Joel from @experiencedmetal has blown me away again with his stunning custom made copper belt!! Straight from the set of Gladiator- I am absolutely floored with the craftsmanship and detail. Arghh!! All I can say is Wowsers. I am just so INSPIRED 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

The theme was Utopia. It was my first hair styling styling!! Hahaha! What a theme to work with too. I already knew what I wanted to do, black/sand, copper. So we had to create another fashion look to go with the theme and she went with a gorgeous dress and duster from @lenni_thelabel Loren placed 3rd in the National event! HUGE congrats!! Most of the time I am styling to a directive and although I do have a certain freedom with most things, the client/photographer vision is paramount to get spot on. I absolutely love creating visions from other creative’s minds, but every year I love to do one shoot that is entirely mine. This is that shoot this year. I became a little obsessed with Andy Warhol again - he is always there though- after watching The Andy Warhol Diaries on Netflix. It wasn’t so much with Andy this time, but the people in The Factory- his creative space. The muses. The artisans. The people who invoked creativity into that New York moment. I like making up stories in my head about what they would do when the glamour wasn’t around. What if they wanted to hang out in Central Park? Would they chuck their trackies on? Hell No! They would always be fire. They would be wearing their Gucci, their fake furs, their evening gown from the night before. They always kept it on. They were Magic. So this is what the shoot is about.
