Georges art show is this Thursday! These works are really beautiful in person, you can see different shapes in them like figures in the clouds. Original works will be for sale at very affordable prices, any sales will help support George in his indoor life. We’re doing an art show with “2 Quarter”George next month. George has been a fixture of Frenchman street, a coffee and classical music lover, and an artist since he was young. He’s walked more miles across New Orleans, uptown to the Marigny and everywhere in between, than anyone I’ve known. His “line plays” are detailed, suggestive, and playful. Some recall mid century optical artworks, while others are sparse and meditative like calligraphy scrolls. Please join us Thursday Oct. 3 at Blue Dream for an art opening featuring his original drawings on paper. George will be there and if you haven’t met this gentlemen, I assure you it’s a delight.
