All very official now: the capital of Europe no longer has a campsite. Handing in this logo reminded us of the loooooong administrative process of obtaining it! Very proud of ourselves to have hosted around 5000 people in 2,5 summers. Let’s wait and see what the summer of 2025 will bring for Brussels. If anyone feels the sudden urge to open a campsite, we are very willing to give any advice and moral support. Or if anyone believes they know the perfect spot…hook us up. Hi everyone, as you know, @camping58_bxl is closing down. It was also our rehearsal space and equipment storage. We're currently looking for a new rehearsal space and storage facility. In exchange, we can make some of our equipment available to other bands. If we can't find a rehearsal space, we're still looking for a place to store our stuff in the meantime. Magpie closing town. This place is 🪄 and words cannot describe how deep our gratitude is. Towards all the people who came and supported us, to all the staff and the whole team. Friends and family. Dancers and campers. Most of all the spot itself for being what en who it is. We did it together and that’s the beauty of Brussels! 🙏 🥰 💖 🌈 🌳 🌞

Update:s: the city informed us that the fresco will be treated with the necessary respect and that it will be preserved before the destruction! We will come up with some better ideas. 🏆 For our very final pétanque cup this Sunday (2-6pm) we our (no longer 😂 ) putting our fresco in as the first prize*! These are wooden panels (2x2m) depicting PETANQUE as an Olympic sports, painted in 1963. 🎨 👉 Inscriptions are open untill Sunday 14h, but we prefer you to send us your team name to info@camping58.be so we can get an idea on how much food to provide etc. *Feel free to refuse and take a tshirt instead.

After 2,5 summers we are nearing the end of our project on the Leo Petanque site. 4K+ sleepers have enjoyed our facilities. 10 more nights before the show comes to an end. Na 2,5 zomers naderen we het einde van ons project op het Leo Petanque terrein. 4K+ slapers hebben genoten van onze faciliteiten. Nog 10 avonden voordat de show hier afloopt! En je laatste kans om dus vlakbij het Atomium te kamperen. Bonjour chers ami.e.s, voisin.e.s, abonné.e.s et (anciens) visiteurs. Glad to announce our newest artist in residence @dj_iris.wav aka Wuivend Benenkind! She will host a free workshop on Sunday - swing that oscillator(link in bio) followed by a live performance. Wuivend Benenkind aka iRiS is a dj and producer. She manufactures sounds with field recordings, samples and sound from homemade frogging oscillators and bends, synths. Wuivend Benenkind is a live set with all those elements present, not completely defined at hand nor at leg, always a spectrum.
