5 TRIPS AROUND THE SUN🌞 Last night l put you to sleep. After your eyes closed, l lied down next to you for a few minutes. I put my hand on your cheek and looked at you - wishing l could pause time and keep you this small just a little bit longer. Keeping my hand on your cheek, l dreamt about us in the future and felt comfort imagining this same moment in a few years time. I touched your ear - l know them so well, both your ears have a slight different shape. I love the freckles constellation on your face, it draws a line under your left eye. I know every inch of your body. Walking down the street holding hands is a priceless thing - that look in your eyes. I put the books back on the shelf and off l go to cook some dinner. Someone that understood from the very first minute that the relationship with his child starts in the present and not in the future.
