“Breaking The Chains” Painted a skate deck for a benefit show supporting @static_age_record_store a record shop/venue and community space in Asheville affected by hurricane Helene. Thanks a million @kata_mata and @lindadmc for inviting me to be a part of it and for creating a space where our community can gather and support each other. When I went to art school (a million years ago and mind you, I dropped out and never graduated) I fell in love with my Intro to 3D art which pushed me to make art with different mediums. It was then in 2007, that I made my first multimedia installation. I forgot how much I enjoy playing with video. though I’m not a video editor, Entre El Cerro y Mar allowed me the opportunity to play with video work. I feel lucky to have this recording from 1993 that my dad took from our first trip to Cusco. This might be the only recording I have of my family from back then and I’m so glad I have it and that my friend @mean_mangosteen was able to digitize the vhs for me. Hoping to do more of this. Hoping to keep archiving, collecting memories and presenting them to the world through art.

The last month I was introduced to clay at @houzz_of_tau , needless to say, I became obsessed with it. These are my first ever lil clay babies and I love them so so much! More ceramics coming soon ✨
