These two gentlemen moved heaven and earth to make what would have been an extremely difficult project into a well oiled machine. Part 2 of Mystic Stills. These are graded frames from Five Months Four Days. I miss being on set so much and posting these make me miss it even more. This film was shot on Digital with the Alexa Mini and Cooke Anamorphic lenses. I wanted to bring in elements of being shot on film. Tried to match traditional looks of #super35 and take some of the digital edge off since those are some of the cleaner sharper anamorphic lenses. Aimed for a #kodak5219 look for process. Colored in #davinciresolve

A project I am really proud of just premiered today. A music video ‘Yeah No!’ by @therealtechn9ne. I have been a fan of him since I was in Middle School and it was surreal getting to Direct one of his films. Here are some BTS stills thanks to @mcdinsy. Big Shout out as well to the Scottish Rite Temple of Kansas City for accommodating our shoot.

I had the privilege to direct Eye Zkreem for @deestro_king. We wanted to portray a world of awkwardness and boredom with a outlook on finding your own unique character. We wanted to embrace a strong vintage look, so I decided to shoot #S16mm mode on the #alexamini. For glass I shot on Super 16mm set of #optarillumina lenses. Filtered with Hollywood Black Magic 1/4 strength. Then did some post film grain through #filmconvert

Finishing up prep for a music video tomorrow. I am really enjoying the ease of use on @cinetracer. This new update unleashed some really awesome features. Can’t wait to see what they have next.
