After 5 years of research & development @amber_cycle has partnered with us to introduce Cycora™ - a new, circular textile material developed to be the regenerated alternative to conventional polyester; made from landfill destined ‘waste’ textiles. Cycora™ is made from breakthrough molecular regeneration technology, which separates distinct material types in apparel via a chemical recycling process. Landfill-destined ‘waste’ textiles are introduced into the process, the polyester is rescued and purified into a high-quality resin, and the resulting resin is then spun into Cycora™ fibers and yarns. For our first iteration of the material we designed a longsleeve baselayer sublimated with an image of moss in a forest, modeled by @alealimay & shot by @micaiahcarter at @moonwaterfarm 🤲🏽
